Our Mission
To support mental health, socialization, and psychological safety through online gaming, with a focus on building community and providing a safe and inclusive environment for all participants[cite: 2].
Our Vision & Goals
- To provide a space for all individuals (focusing on ages 8-18) to connect and socialize through online gaming[cite: 4].
- To reduce social isolation and improve overall well-being for participants by creating a supportive and inclusive community[cite: 6].
- To promote awareness and understanding of mental health conditions and reduce stigma through education and open discussion within the group[cite: 7].
Our Programs
Our pilot program includes three distinct pathways[cite: 62]:
- Structured Program: Designed to help those who want to get into gaming but may face obstacles such as lack of access or financial constraints[cite: 63, 64].
- Informal Gaming Sessions: Safe spaces for individuals to come together and play games[cite: 65]. We provide a forum for sharing experiences, discussing gaming topics, and building community[cite: 66, 71]. These sessions are facilitated by trained moderators equipped to lead structured, nonjudgmental conversations[cite: 72, 73].
- "One-Shot" Sessions: Programs that expand our services to meet the broader needs of the gaming community and their support network, such as educational programs for parents who want to help make gaming a positive experience for the whole family[cite: 76, 77].
